Mission Statement

Our mission is to improve and protect the quality of the environment. Regenesis develops, manufactures, and markets innovative technologies to clean up the environment in a way that conserves our customers' time and money. Today our products remediate contaminated aquifers that can endanger drinking water. In the future, we will develop innovative technologies for the prevention and remediation of a broad range of environmental problems.

Company History

Incorporated in March, 1994, Regenesis was founded to develop and commercialize its first product, Oxygen Release Compound, ORC®. After extensive laboratory and field-testing, ORC was introduced to the groundwater remediation market in the spring of 1995. Over time as the acceptance of accelerated or enhanced bioremediation using injectable oxygen releasing substrates grew, so did sales of ORC. Today, the product is applied to remediate subsurface groundwater and soil contaminated from a broad range of sources. ORC has been proven as a low-cost, low-impact, energy efficient and effective treatment for the remediation of groundwater contaminated with aerobically degradable hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX), methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, gas condensates, fuel oils, lubricants, bunker oil, PAHs, certain pesticides/herbicides and certain industrial solvents (alcohols and ketones). To date, ORC has been applied on thousands of sites in the U.S. and around the world.

Over the last decade, Regenesis offerings have come full circle with a complete and complimentary suite of products capable of treating a range of subsurface contaminants at varying concentrations. Beyond ORC for petroleum based contaminants, Regenesis developed and sells several different versions of Hydrogen Release Compound (HRC®) to target anaerobically biodegradable, chlorinated compounds. In cases where incomplete dechlorination is observed, Regenesis offers a well-documented bioaugmentation product known as Bio-Dechlor INOCULUM™. For problematic metals like chromium, Metals Remediation Compound (MRC®) provides an effective immobilization agent. Whether the contaminant is in the soil or groundwater, the dissolved phase or approaching free product; Regenesis offers proven, low-cost, effective solutions.
